Fast-forward the year and we meet yet again, looking back at the beaten tracks and trails we've passed through, but only to discover this journey abruptly terminated. So much for my first stint as a journalist, I've been here barely into a year and the company is already shutting down. And just when I thought things would settle down, until of course they delivered the killing blow. Although we still go to office everyday, but the 'engine room' is no longer what it used to be.Only few months ago, we were still flying in and out of office attending events and zapping news articles everyday but now, even going to office is really burden, and its only delaying the inevitable. Ahh crap, pretty soon I'd be hunting for jobs again just like old times - Brilliant, back to ground zero.
On another note, I finally got round to see an old friend from school after being buried in work for the longest time.Well its always great to know that people still remember shitloads of stuff even if its been a decade since we left school. I remembered back then when we were in lower secondary, our seniors, despite minimal contact, used to tell us that we'd miss our high school years once we enter the rat race - didn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out eh?
Its funny that during that time how we used to 'look up' to them seniors but before you know it, you're 'looking down' on your the juniors. However, now you're working, you notice how you experience life rather differently in contrast to ten years ago, running around in school uniform. Despite the mundane routine of everyday skool life, we see life from the inside looking-out; we were always looking for whatever way possible to claim our place in the world. But nowadays, as adults, we see life from the outside looking-in, which completely changes our pov on stuff we experience. Which reminds me of that poem I learnt during Mrs Rivai's class of English literature about children losing their childhood once they turn into boring adults(I swear I'll never become a nagging adult lol).

The beaming afternoon sun shone brightly amidst a clear blue sky as we chatted over lunch at the little cafe. It was a beautiful day. Eventually, we talked about setting up a small agriculture business beginning early next year. Can't put a finger on this yet until we finish the business plan, so I'd better put the pedal to the metal before anything. Aut.
